Dear valued customers,

Life is always full of surprises! Twists, turns, and new opportunities.

Quality Hardware has served the Madison community since 1971, and we have successfully established long-standing relationships that are the foundation of our success. Just over ten years ago, we joined True Value Company, where we anticipated being a member for a long time. However, earlier this year the True Value cooperative was acquired by an investment company, and we have decided it is now time for a change.

​

We are extremely pleased to announce a transition to Orgill as our new primary vendor. Orgill was founded in 1847 and today is the fastest-growing independent hardware distributor in the world. The company serves more than 6,000 retailers, and their growth is a direct result of their focus on enhancing the strength and effectiveness of each retailer’s local brand.

​

Because of our recent vendor acquisition, we will no longer be utilizing True Value’s logo and name, and we will be known as Quality Hardware Co. Inc., just as our grandparents used back in 1971. We will continue at our present location of 1201 South Park Street in Madison, and you can expect the same service that you have come to expect from us over the years. Of course, now you can also expect terrific new additions to our product line. With Orgill as our main supplier, we anticipate a greater variety of inventory and the ability to maintain increased quantities on hand.

As the 3rd generation of Quality Hardware, this is something we have worked hard to accomplish. We are committed to expert service, and quality products at sensible prices. We believe this decision will make Quality Hardware even better positioned to navigate an evolving industry. This is an exciting announcement for us that we are confident will yield important benefits for our customers, while also ensuring the overall long-term stability of our business for years to come. We couldn't have made it 47 years without our loyal customers, and we strive to serve you even better during the next 47!
